...tours to Scotland
With golf played here in Scotland for over 600 years we can rightly claim Scotland as “the home of golf”. So it is not unusual to find Scotland is the first choice of our international clients’ inaugural visit to the UK and Ireland. What would be unusual would be if it were to remain a once in a life time experience when there is so much to see and do and most of the real treasures that Scotland hold will only be found or subsequent visits.
The big five of Scottish golf have all hosted The Open: The Old Course at St Andrews, Muirfield, Carnoustie, Royal Troon and where The Open Championship began back in 1860, Prestwick Golf Club. Whilst these may be the most recognisable names any list of the World's top 100 courses will list many more Scottish courses. Royal Dornoch, Cruden Bay, North Berwick, Western Gailes - all classics but there are numerous other courses that are the envy of other worldwide golf destinations that can only dream of Scotland's historical links. Take our advice and leave some spare time during your vacation to play some of these lesser known masterpieces. For some they will be the most memourable part of your trip.
New sample itineraries for 2022 will appear on this site soon.
